To Candidates:

A: IMPORTANT: Carefully READ and UNDERSTAND these instructions before starting to register for examinations: [Printer Friendly Version]

B: DECLARATION: I, student, declare that I have read and understood the University Examination Regulations and the Conditions for Registration and Sitting for the January/February 2013 Examinations as issued by the Office of the Deputy Vice Chancellor (Academic). Therefore, by registering, I declare that I am eligible to sit for the exams and I will be responsible and accountable for all information I provide in this system. I understand that failure to abide to these conditions shall mean violating regulations and/or laws. [The DVC(Acad) Announcement is here].

C: HOW TO REGISTER: If you do not meet the above declaration, please, logout and faithfully report to your DRC. Otherwise, follow these instructions to register for the exams:

  1. On the left menu, click Examination Tasks ==> Register for Exams to display the Exam Center Selection Form/Page if it is your first time to add courses/register. Choose your Examination Center then click "Next >>". Otherwise, if you had ever chosen Exam Center before, the system takes you directly to the next step below.

  2. Select the appropriate course code you want to register for then click "Next >>".

  3. The Course code and name are displayed along with the authorised examination categories to be conducted in January/February 2013 session whereby M-TT ==> Main Timed Test, S-AE ==> Special Annual Examination and SUPP ==> Supplementary Examination

  4. Select the appropriate examination category/categories you want to register for the chosen course by clicking/ticking the check-box below each appropriate exam category you desire then click the "Save Data" button. Otherwise, click "Chg. Course" to choose another course.

  5. Automatically, the records are shown below. Go through them for verification and in case you have made a mistake, delete the choice and start afresh.

  6. The course and the corresponding exam categories are automatically saved in the database and displayed for you to verify your choice(s). You are advised to cross-check that everything is correct, otherwise, delete and start afresh.

  7. Repeat steps (1) to (5) to add more courses and exams you desire until you finish.

D: MADE A MISTAKE? : No problem! Everything is at your fingertips. Just delete any exam category and/or course in case of wrong choice and make corrections accordingly. This is very important; don't leave courses/exams that you are not intending to sit for as the examination papers will be prepared, transported, examination room prepared, and other costs be incurred while in reality no one is going to sit for the exam.

E: GETTING YOUR EHT: In order to get your EHT, you should cover Parts (A) to (D) above. If everything is OK, on the left menu, choose "EHT Confirmation" to tell the system that you have finished the exercise and you want now to be regarded as a potential candidate for the upcoming On Demand Examination session then follow the online instructions carefully.

F: CAUTION: EHT confirmation is an irreversible action. In other words, once confirmation is made, steps (C) and (D) are ended and no changes can be made anymore. You are capable to view the EHT only, therefore, read all instructions and understand what you are doing before confirming as no excuse will be accepted for wrong confirmation. You are advised to think twice and give yourself some time to make proper and accurate decision on this. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!
